Barrie Hydro Distribution Inc. (“Barrie Hydro”) is a corporation incorporated under the laws of Ontario and the Local Distribution Company (LDC) that owns and operates the electricity infrastructure, distributing a safe, reliable supply of electricity to homes and businesses within it’s service areas within Simcoe County.  It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Barrie Hydro Holdings Inc.

Barrie Hydro Holdings Inc. is a corporation incorporated under the laws of Ontario and the City of Barrie is the sole shareholder.  In addition to being the sole shareholder of  “Barrie Hydro”, Barrie Hydro Holdings Inc. is the sole shareholder of Barrie Hydro Energy Services Inc.

Barrie Hydro Energy Services Inc. is a corporation incorporated under the laws of Ontario and is engaged in the business of providing customer billing and collection services and hot water tank services.
