Ross Archer is a Consultant to R.A. Archer Refrigeration & A/C, having owned and operated the business for 23 years. Prior to this, Mr. Archer worked in refrigeration and the retail industry for 24 years. In terms of public service, Mr. Archer has served as Alderman in the City of Barrie for 9 years and held the position of Mayor for 12 years. Mr. Archer has been a Commissioner and/or Chairman of Barrie PUC since 1977, and now holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Barrie Hydro, since 2001.

Helen Fisch is an independent consultant in the energy sector in Ontario. She began her own consulting business in 2000, after 22 years of management experience with Ontario Hydro and its successor companies, in the areas of finance, international business development and customer service. Ms. Fisch has had extensive Board experience, having served on the Board of Directors of IRIS Power Engineering, Transparency International, Ontario-Quinta, and the REENA Foundation. Ms Fisch holds a Masters in Business Administration and has served as Vice-chair of Barrie Hydro Board of Directors since 2001.

Dave Aspden was a police officer for over 20 years and has also been in sales and management. Dave has also been a municipal councillor for 9 years. Mr. Aspden became Barrie's 41st mayor with his win in the 2006 municipal election. He has been a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 28 years, received the President's Award from the Navy League of Canada and is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Ontario Association of Police Services Boards. Mr. Aspden was appointed to the Board of Barrie Hydro in December 2006.

Ron Stevens is currently consulting and teaching in undergraduate and graduate level business programs at several Canadian universities. A chemical engineer by profession, Mr. Stevens has recently held the positions of President, COO, VP/General Manager for more than 15 years, with business's in the consumer products and construction related industries. Previously, Mr. Stevens held senior functional management positions in manufacturing and human resources with large multi-national corporations. In terms of community service, Mr. Stevens has been the Chair of the Georgian College Board of Governors, President of the Barrie manufacturers Council and Director and member of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce and Barrie Economic Development Council. Mr. Stevens serves as a member of the Board of Barrie Hydro, since 2001.

Mike Ramsay teaches history and politics at Barrie Central Collegiate. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, a Bachelor of Education degree from York University and a degree from Georgian College in broadcast journalism. Mike was first elected to Barrie City Council in 1994, re-elected in 1997 and returned by acclamation in 2000. Mr. Ramsay was a candidate in 1993 federal election and the 2003 provincial election. He returned to Barrie City Council with his election to office in November 2006. Mike is serving his second term on the Board of Directors of Barrie Hydro.
