Interruptions to power supply can occur if trees touch our distribution lines. For this reason, we must maintain clearance from our lines and trim trees on a regular basis.

Please do not plant trees/shrubs under our overhead lines or around padmount transformers.  Our crews require quick and safe access to electrical equipment and will remove trees/shrubs that block access.

We make every attempt to balance aesthetics with safety and reliability requirements when trimming trees. Customers should hire a qualified tree service and never risk safety by trimming or removing trees in proximity to Hydro lines.
